- Mr. Shand is a retired Guidance Counselor, Which if you knew him in High School will come as a great surprise. Mr. Shand has centered his life around serving others as a counselor, nurse, and Corpsman in Viet Nam. He now is an Ordained Minister and a Certified Chaplain in service to God. He married his high school sweetheart, Carolyn, in 1970 and they are still together. They moved to Mexico in 2007 after Carolyn Suffered a stroke and Bob took early retirement to care for her. Mr. Shand writes, mostly for his own enjoyment. This blog is a way to get his writings out of his head and into the world.
